Data that is personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data on any electronic device submitted for repair to the Company will be segregated and undisclosed to any third parties; it is unchanged and unreviewed. The data is held for a maximum of three months by the Company solely for repair purposes directly to the customer pertaining to the repair and will remain unaltered by the Company within that time. On submission of repair work to the Company this Privacy Policy is acknowledged and consent is agreed to by the customer. Data that is personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data on any business customers network, computers and electronic devices supported by the Company will be undisclosed to anyone or to any third parties; the data will be strictly confidential and protected according to the Company’s GDPR stance. Data both personal and sensitive will remain segregated, unreviewed and unaltered by the Company. Data both sensitive and personal will not be sold to a third party or disclosed to any party. Support maintenance contracts with the Company will include GDPR conditions and a data contract will be required to ensure mutual GDPR compliance. Support work by the Company for any customer acknowledges this Privacy Policy and is agreed to in its entirety by the customer. The Company encourages you to review the privacy statements of Web sites that you choose to link to so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by the Company. This information is used by the Company for the operation of the service, support and to maintain the quality of the IT support and repair service only. This data is protected and kept confidential to the company in every circumstance.
The Company does not sell, rent or lease its client lists to third parties. The Company may, from time to time, contact on your behalf external business partners about an issue or request. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party by the Company. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to the Company, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. An example of this would be a third-party support helpdesk for software purchased by the customer.
The Company maintains CCTV coverage of its retail environments and this data is recorded for the sole purpose of law enforcement requirements and health and safety issues only. The data is unreviewed by the Company, unaltered, segregated and the retention policy is 20 calendar days. The submission of CCTV data to law enforcement is undertaken at their formal request. This includes data that you provide to us when you submit a repair, request support or on entering into a support contract with the company. When you have entered into a maintenance support contract with the company, your data is kept highly confidential, unchanged, unreviewed and protected according to this privacy policy. Just Computers facilitate your IT support under the terms and conditions of your maintenance contract and this is to your instructions. Your guidance and approval will be a mandatory requirement with incidents and requests being processed through the company’s helpdesk. The data you give us may include:
First name, Middle name, Surname, Address, email address, preferred contact phone number, photo identification for the purpose of part exchange on hardware. The photo identification will be held for the duration of the part exchange / buy in transaction and for a period of 3 months thereafter. Once this transaction has concluded this data is confidentially disposed. This data is not sold to a third party and kept confidential to the company and for the sole purpose of law enforcement on part exchange / buy in hardware.
